Deacon Commissions
| The Deacon Board is organized around the four commissions listed below. |
Worship Commission
The Worship Commission prepares the Communion elements for regular Communion services on the first Sunday of each month. It also hosts receptions following memorial services held at First Pres.
Hospitality and Outreach Commission
The Hospitality and Outreach Commission organizes the teams who greet people at the Sunday worship services and serve at the Welcome Center. It also hosts and helps to facilitate the New Members classes.
Visitation Commission
The Visitation Commission offers hospital visitation, prayer, and homebound Communion service. It also organizes seasonal flower deliveries to those who have faced significant challenges or are homebound.
Mission Commission
The Mission Commission seeks to discern and live out God's call to love and serve our local community. It works in concert with the Mission Outreach and Evangelism department.
