We have the capacity to be connected almost instantaneously to one another across the globe through the Internet, cell phone, and global markets. At the same time, we find ourselves feeling more disconnected personally. There is a growing sense of isolation and loneliness. How is it that Christians in far more conflicted contexts than we, are able to extend lavish hospitality and welcome to their neighbor, the stranger, and even their enemy? The Christ, who has welcomed and extended himself for us, calls us to do the same for our communities and for our world. Come and hear Christian leaders from the Majority World who live in divisive contexts as they help us to understand, engage in, and respond to these realities as an expression of God's expansive embrace for all humanity.
