An active version of "lectio divina" (biblical meditation) on stories of the Christian tradition
A time of playful worship that invites relationship with God

At the heart of a Godly Play session is the telling of the story, experienced in the contexts of both the chronology of scripture and the church calendar. The storyteller uses simple, beautiful materials to illustrate the story and to engage imagination. Both the structure of Godly Play and the classrooms themselves offer children a safe space to explore, wonder, and worship. Children have the opportunity to relate Biblical stories to their own experience and to respond personally and creatively to God.

Sunday Morning Schedule beginning September 1 Drop-off is 10 minutes before the start of the service; pick-up is immediately following the end of the service. Click here for more information about the new Sunday morning schedule.
9:00 am Worship Service	4 Years–4th Grade: Westminster Hall 2nd Floor (4-year-olds may choose between Godly Play and Teddy Bear Lair)
Middle Hour 10:15-11:15 am	Children have the option to attend choirs on Westminster Hall 2nd Floor (4-year-olds may choose between choir and Teddy Bear Lair)
11:30 am Worship Service	4 Years–4th Grade: Westminster Hall 2nd Floor (4-year-olds may choose between Godly Play and Teddy Bear Lair)

During the summer months, Godly Play is on hiatus as the First Pres family comes together across generations to worship as the family of God.
