Anchor
Anchor is a weekly gathering place for the high school community at First Pres. It is our desire that this time will offer high school students the opportunity to build and nurture deep relationships among their peers and the adults in the church community.

InterMission (High School Midweek Small Groups)
We gather on Thursdays for an "intermission" from our weekly pressures and stresses. Our usual pattern is dinner (7-7:30 pm), music, a brief teaching time, and an extended small group time, which provides students with a chance to grow and reconnect.

Cost: $2 for dinner

Area Morning Studies (AM's)
Start the day right with some fun, fellowship, and yummy breakfast! Students and youth staff meet in various locations for breakfast and conversation. Transportation will be available to get students to school on time. (Students will purchase their own breakfast.)

Unity Camp
This is the last major High School Ministries event before school starts! We'll spend 3 days and 2 nights white-water rafting and canyoneering on the American River in Coloma, CA. This is for all rising high school students (grades 9-12) and will a great time to connect before the school year begins. Registration deadline is August 1; sign up today!

Dates: August 11-13
Time: Leaving Wednesday 3:30 pm; returning Friday (time to be determined)
Cost: $237

Half Dome Hike
Don't miss this extravaganza of hiking and bonding! We will meet at the church on August 17 at 8:00 PM, leave at midnight, start hiking at 4:30 AM, shower, and eat dinner together; we aim to be home by 11 PM on Wednesday night! Registration deadline is August 15; sign up today!
