To study the prophets is to learn the passion of Jesus. Listen to Jesus' words as he enters into the Passion Week: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem…how often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!" (Matthew 23:37) Maybe you've never thought about how the prophets relate to Jesus, or how they give us deep hope in difficult times. This year we will study Micah and Amos in order to hear the call to gather and live the passion of God within our world.

Learning Communities (LCs) are a great way to connect with other adults at First Pres who are of all stages of life and faith. LCs are groups of 20-50 people who meet weekly on Sundays to experience community, engage God's Word, and encourage service in our families, neighborhoods, and the world beyond.
