Do Justice
Each spring, we join together as a church community to worship God through acts of service. Since 2007, First Pres members and friends have worked together on projects such as assembling AIDS caregiver kits, beautifying local schools, building at a Habitat for Humanity worksite, and assisting homebound members of First Pres.
- Mark your calendars for the next Do Justice event on April 2, 2011. Event and registration details coming soon.
- To see Do Justice in action, check out this video.
Gift World
Gift World is both an alternative gift marketplace and an art gallery. Stories of those who have experienced Christ’s hope in the midst of suffering will be told through original artwork by members of First Pres. You can purchase gifts by donating to the various ministries of First Pres mission partners locally and throughout the world. With each gift purchased you will receive a card and a gift description to give to your family and friends during the Christmas season.
- Gift World will take place in the Calvin Room in Geneva Hall on November 21 and 28, 2011.
India Initiative
Over the past 15 years, First Pres has been involved in ministry with the Dalit (untouchable) people of Uttar Pradesh State, India. Through our mission partners, you can sponsor a Dalit child's education for only $1.50 a day. Click here to learn more, or contact Anita Ogden at ogdenwmc@earthlink.net.
Mission Partner Task Force
