Hope Walks
Come walk to give hope to orphans and vulnerable children, who, like children anywhere in the world, want to be embraced with love and to have a secure future. Hope Walks raises money for children and orphans affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Participants in the walk are provided with education about the global orphan crisis. Walk either a 1.5- or 5-kilometer route through the Berkeley campus of the University of California. This is a great opportunity for children and families to be involved in missions right here in Berkeley.

Over the past 12 years, First Pres has been involved in ministry with the Dalit (untouchable) people of Uttar Pradesh State, India. American Culture Class
Extend hospitality and friendship to international scholars. We seek conversational partners who will help visitors understand everyday American English and navigate Berkeley, or simply invite them to dinner.
