Registration
All children should have a current registration form on file with Children's Ministries. This important document provides our teachers and staff with information about your child's emergency contact, allergies and special needs. If you have not filled out a form for the current year, please complete a registration form and return it to your child's classroom.

Sickness Policy
For the health of your child, other children and the Children's Ministries staff and volunteers, we request that any sick child remain at home. A sick child is defined as one with a fever; persistent cough; diarrhea; mucus or redness of the eyes; constant runny nose; rash on face, torso or limbs; communicable disease or vomiting. Children must be symptom- and fever-free for 24 hours before attending a Children's Ministries program. In addition, if your child is looking lethargic or just coming down with a cold, we will ask that s/he remain with you. Caregivers and Shepherds visually screen children for illness as they enter a classroom, and they may ask you about symptoms they observe. Please let our staff know if your pediatrician has confirmed that your child has a condition such as asthma or an allergy that imitates symptoms of communicable diseases.

Children's Choirs
First Pres has a flourishing choir program for children beginning at age 4! Children learn music fundamentals, worship repertoire, and performance skills - all in a fun, nurturing environment. Click here for more information.

Resources for Parents
First Pres sponsors many classes in support of families, parents and children in all stages of development from birth through the teen years. Look for class offerings in the Connecting Brochure, published quarterly.
