Use your unique talents and gifts to serve at First Pres! As part of our community practice of "Worship+2," all members and regular attenders are invited to be part of worship plus two other First Pres ministries, one for growth and fellowship, and one for mission and service. There are service opportunities available in almost every ministry area; we hope you'll take the step to find the one that is right for you.

• Worship leaders: read scripture or lead prayers
• Worship musicians: instrumentalists, soloists, worship team members
• Sanctuary art installation helpers
• Ushers and greeters for Sunday worship and special services
• Welcome Center hosts for Sunday worship and special services 

• Childcare volunteers for birth through Pre-K
• Godly Play curriculum volunteers for three-year-olds through 4th grade

• Transportation: provide rides or vehicles for various ministry trips 
• Special Events: offer aid to youth ministry events for an evening or over a weekend
  High School
• Sunday morning leadership: offer warmth and spiritual guidance
• InterMission: guide a small group to spiritual depth on a Thursday night
  Middle School
• Metro: give our Sunday morning program life and energy through leadership
• Rooted: lead a small group on Thursday nights
• Route 56: guide our 5th and 6th graders on Sunday mornings as they transition to Middle School.

Student Service Opportunities
• Student Care Team: reach out with care or prayer to students in need
• Student Discipleship Team: lead students in Biblical understanding and growth
• Student Missions Board: help discern the best steps for our partnership with the church in Uganda

• FoCUS Partners: lead a Wednesday night small group
• FoCUS Partner Families: host students for a meal or place to crash during their time in Berkeley
