Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry We all experience challenges in life, times when we could benefit from the support of a caring Christian friend. Stephen Ministers are ready to provide emotional and spiritual care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Equipped through an extensive 8-month training course, Stephen Ministers are lay persons who are gifted and called to caregiving; the care they offer is confidential, on-going, one-to-one, and free. If you or someone you know might benefit from receiving care from a Stephen Minister, please contact Carol Johnston at (510) 848-6252 ext. 274 or at carolj@fpcberkeley.org.
