Occasional Giver to Faithful Giver

My story: I give to the church but usually when there is special need. I give once in a while when I hear about a particular concern and feel moved.
My challenge: to become consistent in my giving. I will commit to give something each week. May the greater discipline of faithful giving grow my connection to First Pres, to my community, and to God's work in the world.

Discretionary Giver to First Fruits Giver

My story: I give out of what I consider to be discretionary funds. I don't make a financial pledge to First Pres, but after my bills are paid I usually make a donation to the church and I do so pretty regularly as well as on special occasions.
My challenge: to plan to give out of my "first fruits". I will budget my giving to First Pres as a priority in my financial planning. May my first fruit giving grow my reliance on God, reflect more deeply my gratitude for all that I have, and connect me more significantly to God's work in the world.

Faithful Giver to Adventurous Giver

My story: I give regularly to the church. I haven't recently reassessed the amount that I give from year-to-year, but feel that I generously support the ministries of First Pres and have for many years.
My challenge: to become more adventurous in my giving. I will take a look at my recent giving history and consider a more sacrificial model of giving going forward. May my increased generosity also grow my heart for what God cares about most in this world.
