All Things Made New
Sundays in June
 2nd Floor Geneva Hall

An Invitation

“So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation:
everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ,
and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”
                                                                                   2 Corinthians 5:17-18

Christ came to make all things new. Not just a slightly better version of the old. New. At a time when real, enduring renewal can feel elusive at best, what does re-creation look like: in our lives, in the church, in the world? And how are we being invited to participate?

Join us this June in one of several four-week gatherings as we explore the many ways Christ is reforming, renewing, and recreating our lives and world. Together in community, our conversations will build in us resilient hope and give us renewed purpose to join Jesus in his work of making all things new.

Common Ground | Exploring Questions about Faith

Sundays, June 5-26, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm | Geneva Hall, Room G207
Facilitators: Mindy Creson, Daly Jordan Koch, Rev. Michelle Vecchio-Lyzenga
Register now through May 29

Let’s be honest. We have questions. Lots of them. Many of us find our way to church—or back to it—because we’ve exhausted our own answers. Ironically, church can feel like the last place we can ask these questions since everyone else seems to be in the know. Join us in creating Common Ground where those of us new or returning to church can explore, wrestle with, and ponder those questions that brought us here to begin with. We’ll share our wonderings and wanderings together, discovering, if not easy answers, fellow journeyers in this Common Ground.

June 12 | Where’s God When it Hurts?

June 19 | So…How Do I Read This?
Exploring what to make of and how to read that ancient and strange book called the Bible.

June 26 | Why Church?
Exploring why on earth we’d give up lazy Sunday mornings to be with quirky people.
