We’re living in a moment when so many of our biggest ideas feel tired, rigid, or weaponized—power, borders, evangelism, justice, community. But the Gospel keeps inviting us to imagine them differently. In our winter sermon series, “A Different Kind of __”, we will complete that sentence each week, rethinking a core idea through the life and ministry of Jesus. What if power looked like humility instead of domination? What if borders were places of blessing instead of fear? What if evangelism was an act of listening and seeing instead of coercing and convincing? Each week we’ll ask how Scripture reframes the assumptions we’ve inherited and opens up a more hopeful, more faithful imagination.
