Whether you are excited to hear the Christmas story or not sure what to make of it—you are welcome at First Pres. In this Advent and Christmas season, we invite you to worship, celebrate, and serve with us!
Worship With Us This Advent
Join us this Advent as we explore Jesus’ lineage through the stories of the most unlikely characters in his family tree. (Read more about the Advent sermon series.)
Christmas Eve: Christmas Pageant
Wednesday, December 24, 2 pm
Celebrate Christ’s birth with an interactive telling of the Christmas story. Come dressed as Mary, Joseph, or a sheep!
Christmas Eve: Lessons and Carols
Tuesday, December 24, 5 pm
Join us in person or online for candles and choral music as we trace the story of God’s love from the beginning of time. Come early for an extended musical prelude beginning at 4:40 pm.
Serve With Us This Advent
Experience the joy of giving! This year, we invite you to participate in The 12 Gifts of Christmas: join with others in your Parish to offer gifts of time and resources— the Parish with the most contributions through Jan 6 wins a PIZZA PARTY with the Pastors. Ask a Deacon or head to the Now Go! Table for details.
Christmas Offering
Our Outreach Committee has selected Congo Initiative and Harbor House to receive this year’s Christmas Offering donations. Write “Christmas Offering” on your check or give online.
Advent Ways to Share
Whether it’s through food, volunteer time, or funds, we’ve made it easy to help our community.
