First Pres Reception Lobby Service Opportunity

One practical way to serve our First Pres community is to be a welcoming presence in our Reception Lobby on Sunday mornings. Whether helping direct people to locations around our campus or answering general questions, you can offer a helping hand to those in need.   We are looking for team members who can serve one Sunday each month (or more frequently) from 9 am to 1 pm. November 13 Worship Service Moved to 5 pm

Due to the Berkeley Half-Marathon road closures, the 10:30 am morning worship service and children's program will be moved to 5 pm. Please note, the First Pres parking garage closes at 7 pm on Sundays. Our campus will be closed until 12 pm. All 9 am and after worship morning classes and programs will be on Zoom or will not meet. As Ecclesiastes reminds us, life can be unpredictable and difficult. At one point or another, we all need extra support. One way First Pres supports those in need is through our Deacon Fund. This fund offers confidential care for members, friends, and our local neighbors in times of crisis and great need.
