Stephen Ministry Training at First Covenant Church
First Covenant Church in Oakland, in partnership with First Pres Berkeley, is offering Stephen Ministry training starting in January 2022. The weekly class will take place on Saturdays from January 8 to June 4, from 10:30am-12:30pm. Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one confidential Christian care to people going through life’s difficulties. After completing an initial training course, Stephen Ministers are supported through a peer supervision process and continuing education.
