As Ecclesiastes reminds us, life can be unpredictable and difficult. At one point or another, we all need extra support. One way First Pres supports those in need is through our Deacon Fund. This fund offers confidential care for members, friends, and our local neighbors in times of crisis and great need. Stephen Ministry Training at First Covenant Church

First Covenant Church in Oakland, in partnership with First Pres Berkeley, is offering Stephen Ministry training starting in January 2022. The weekly class will take place on Saturdays from January 8 to June 4, from 10:30am-12:30pm. Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one confidential Christian care to people going through life’s difficulties.
