First Pres Hosts Day of Service with Project Peace

First Pres Berkeley is excited to host the first Day of Service of the year in partnership with Project Peace. Join us on Saturday, March 11, 9 am–12 pm in various locations throughout the East Bay. Don't miss out on the opportunity to go to schools and partner organizations where we will support work in education, homelessness, youth development, and more. A remote (at home) service opportunity making teacher appreciation gift bags is also available. Partner with CityTeam Oakland and FirstPres Hayward Shelter and Resource Center to transform local communities by helping to provide shelter, food, and care. CityTeam Oakland Currently CityTeam Oakland is undertaking a huge earthquake retrofit and renovation of their downtown Oakland men’s program building. Unfortunately, the alternate location currently housing the men’s residents will no longer be available beginning Feb. 1, so they have to move out asap.
