A new church year means a new choir season! If you’ve been waiting for the right time to add your voice to the musical leadership of our church, this is your moment.

First Pres Choir

Adult choir rehearsals take place Thursdays, 7–9 pm. During the first hour, we rehearse for leading in worship services; in the second hour, we prepare music for our Christmas Concert and other special events. Please check in with our director, James Parrish Smith, before coming to a rehearsal by emailing [email protected].

Christmas Concert Choir

Concert rehearsals begin Thursday, August 24! Concert singers will join the First Pres Choir rehearsal from 8–9 pm. We will rehearse John Rutter’s “Gloria” and other beautiful music of the season for our Christmas Concert on December 10. Please check in with our director, James Parrish Smith, before coming to a rehearsal by emailing [email protected].

Children’s & Youth Choirs

Rehearsals for children’s and youth choirs start Sunday, September 17. Both groups rehearse Sunday mornings at 11 am, with Children’s Choir rehearsals in Westminster Hall, Rm W213B, and Youth Choir rehearsals in the Choir Room behind the Sanctuary.
