Community Groups are at the heart of our life together.

Community Groups at First Pres are a place to connect, explore faith, grow, and serve others. Typically six to 12 adults, Community Groups meet weekly in the home of a group member, on Zoom, or at First Pres. Our conversations are guided by the Questions for Reflection that accompany the weekly sermon. As we explore the intersection of our own story and God’s story, friendships take root, bonds with one another and with God are deepened, and we discover new ways of serving others in our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods and beyond.

New Community Groups form in the fall (beginning in September) and for the six weeks of Lent, and meet seasonally. Other groups meet year-round with no expiration date!

The Sunday Open Door Community Group, currently meeting on Zoom, welcomes anyone interested to drop in for a time of connection, prayer, and conversation immediately following worship. Click here to learn more and request the Zoom link.

We invite you to explore the various Community Groups currently meeting at First Pres. If our available groups aren’t a match for your schedule, please let us know of your interest and we will contact you as new opportunities are available.
