We are passionate about connecting middle- and high-school students to Jesus Christ.
At First Pres, we create a safe and engaging community for students to be themselves, ask hard questions, and form lifelong friendships. We empower our youth to take leadership in the wider church community, because they are not only the future of the church—they are the present!
First Pres hosts weekly meetings for youth in middle school (fifth through eighth grades) and high school. There are also worship, choir, and service opportunities throughout the year, as well as outings and other fun activities.
Rooted (Middle School)
At this midweek get-together, we share stories and laughs, spend time in small groups and Bible study, and even play a game or two, all while we explore what it means to be “rooted” in Christ.
Marked (High School)
Gather with us midweek to consider your identity as a follower of Christ. Then we’ll dive deeper into what it means to be a high school student, an athlete, an artist, a musician, an activist, or any other identity we may find ourselves “marked” by.
We occasionally have combined events for middle school and high school students to gather and celebrate together. Watch for upcoming announcements about Friendsgiving, the White Elephant Christmas Party, the End-of-the-Year Extravaganza, Winter Retreat, and much more.
Whether your student is a fifth grader, a graduating senior, or in between, all youth are invited to join in youth ministries at First Pres!
