Creation Care Conference: In-Person Gathering @ First Pres

Our church is partnering with Presbyterians for Earth Care to host this year’s national conference: “The Climate Crisis & Empowering Hope.”

The conference runs September 20–23 and consists of workshops and presentations over four days. Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday events will be broadcast from Virginia, and Friday will be an all-day in-person gathering at First Pres Berkeley.

Friday’s onsite schedule includes worship, workshops, lunch, and a plenary session entitled “Carbon Is Changing Our Planet: Consequences and Action,” presented by Dr. Jeff Reimer. The day concludes with a reception on the Plaza.
