Committed relationships and lasting love are not by chance; they’re by choice. Join us for a series of fun and constructive conversations, suitable for couples at all stages of life, based on the book Eight Dates: Essential Conversations for a Lifetime of Love by John and Julie Gottman, PhD.

Drawing from extensive scientific research and clinical experience, each week, participants will read a chapter from Eight Dates on topics including trust and commitment, addressing conflict, sex and intimacy, growth and spirituality, and more. Local specialists will provide corresponding teaching and guide us through interactive questions, partner dialogue, and break-out groups. The lessons and conversations are a launching point for couples to go deeper on their own individual dates to renew intimacy, romance, fun, and meaningful connection in our relationships. First Pres Berkeley will even provide “date night” childcare opportunities!
