Emmaus Communities
Adventures with Scripture
January 16, 2022 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Emmaus Communities (ECs) are groups of 20 to 60 adults at varying stages of life and faith. We meet every Sunday for conversation and study, engaging the deep questions of faith and looking beyond pat answers to a fuller understanding of how God’s wisdom shapes our lives. Join us this year in ECs as we hear from pastors and community members about their stories reading, interpreting, preaching, praying, and living out Scripture. Whether you have been reading and studying the Bible for years or are just picking it up for the first time, we hope these shared explorations will inspire you to approach Scripture in a whole new way.
We have three communities ranging in size from 20+ participants (ECs 1/4 and 5) to 65 participants (EC 3). Each EC upholds the community values in their own unique way. You are invited to “stop by” any of our EC gatherings on Sunday mornings.
Leaders from each of our communities are eager to connect with you to share more information and welcome you.
