Street Meal
April 10, 2027 @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
At the First Pres Street Meal, dinner is served and clothing and essentials are shared with our neighbors in need. Doors open at 2 pm for clothing distribution and BINGO, and a hot meal is served at 5 pm. You can volunteer for various time slots and roles. Come join our serving community for as long and as often as you are able!
Our church parking lot (2420 Channing, just past 1951 Coffee) is open for volunteers. Note your parking space number and enter it into the black kiosk at 1st floor Reception.
Clothing and toiletry donations are treasured by our guests. Please bring clean and gently used items to the Now GO! Table each Sunday or to Reception during the week:
- Men’s clothing: jeans, shoes, jackets, sweats, t-shirts (especially large sizes)
- Shoes (new or gently used), men’s socks
- Cold weather items: gloves, hand warmers, knit caps
- Toiletries: soap, toothbrushes/toothpaste, lotion, shampoo
- Non-perishable snacks, juice or milk boxes
- Bible verses and notes of encouragement
