Dear First Pres Family,

Welcome to our new website! As the online front door to First Pres, our website welcomes congregants and newcomers—and makes it easy to find priority news and information about worship and all of our ministries.

With this goal in mind, we are so excited to launch after many months spent diving into our needs and wants, editing ministry information, and making it easier to find the most frequently accessed content. We are proud of what we accomplished and we truly hope you will love the new site as much as we do!

Click around! Be sure to check out a few key areas as you navigate the updated website:

  • Our Welcome Video on the home page greets visitors with an invitation to get to know us and to connect with us.
  • This Sunday has all the information you need to attend church each week—in-person or online. Check early in the week for the worship reservation link. Visit this page on Sunday mornings to worship online via YouTube and to view the worship bulletin (which will be uploaded on Fridays).
  • News is a blog format to highlight the latest from First Pres ministries. Opportunities to serve, ministry news, staff announcements, project updates, Friday emails, special events, and more can be found here. We hope you will enjoy getting a closer look at what we are up to.
  • Our Calendar displays First Pres ministry events…whether on our campus or offsite. A lot of thought was put into how to best provide event info—including how to get involved—in addition to the basic when and where of what’s going on. The calendar will become fuller with classes and service opportunities as we approach the beginning of the ministry year in September. To find events you are looking for, view as a list or by week or month, and take advantage of the search bar (at the top of the calendar), or use the filter feature (on the left).

We thank the amazing team that created the new website! Communications consultant Timothy Palmer Curl led the project with web and graphic designers Fiona Meyer and Brian Conery in collaboration with Executive Director for Operations Sue Burger and ministry leaders. Kudos also to John Monk for editing the welcome video and Liz Ball for copyediting the entire website.

We strongly encourage you to explore the website and learn more! Share our website with your family and friends and invite them to join us for worship in person or online.
