Sundays at First Pres
Worship God, celebrate life together, serve as you feel called.
Due to COVID-19 sheltering restrictions, we worship on Sundays at 10 am together online via Zoom.
We look forward to being able to return to our church campus for our regular Sunday schedule below.

Sunday Communities and Classes for Adults
As parents we have the extraordinary opportunity to shape the faith of our children in our household sanctuary every day of the week. Join with other parents of young children (birth-5th grade) on this journey to instill practices within our families to nurture our children’s relationship with Jesus. There will be plenty of opportunities for conversation, questions, and fellowship.
Dates: Sundays, October 20, 27, November 3, 10, and December 1
Time and Location: Middle Hour (10:15-11:15 am), Calvin Room
More information: Learn more or contact Justin Roth at justinjroth@gmail.com.
If you’re new to First Pres or looking for new ways to engage with others and Scripture, join one of our four Emmaus Communities. These communities (20-60 people) are a great place to connect with adults in all stages of life and faith. This year we are exploring questions from the Bible asked of God or that God asks of us, such as Who do you say that I am? Am I my brother’s keeper? Why O Lord do you stand far off? What must I do to be saved? Our conversations and study lead us to consider more than pat answers but how we respond as people on the journey of being formed in the image of Christ.
Dates and Times: Sundays, 10:15–11:15 am during Middle Hour
Location: Various, click here for locations and descriptions and here for the EC schedule

Connect(her) is a gathering place for women of all ages and life experience where connections are made and relationships are nurtured. This fall we are exploring inspiring stories from the book Vintage Sinners & Saints—25 Christians Who Transformed My Faith. Conversations around these life stories are certain to encourage and give us hope for our own journey of faith. Whether you are just beginning your faith journey or have followed Jesus for a lifetime, we welcome you!
Dates & Times: Sundays, 10:15–11:15 am during Middle Hour
Location: Church Lounge, Westminster Hall

Whether you are new to First Pres or have been around awhile, drop in to enjoy great conversations and study Scripture with our community group. We dive into the biblical text from Sunday’s sermon.

SMS is an inductive group Bible study. We study God’s word a complete book at a time, alternating between the Old and New Testaments. Rotating “facilitators” pose questions to help us go deeper together into the text to more fully discover what God is saying to us. We also support one another through prayer and encouragement. Drop-ins are welcome; preparation is not required.
Dates and Times: Sundays, 10:15–11:15 am during Middle Hour
Location: Room G214, Geneva Hall
