We tend to think of the Ten Commandments as a checklist—the terms and conditions we have to meet to earn God’s approval. Pass the test, and you’re in. Fail, and you’re out. But that’s not the story Scripture actually tells. Before God gives Israel a single command, God has already rescued them, already claimed them, already called them “mine.” The commandments don’t come before the relationship—they come after it, as the shape of a life already loved.
This fall, join us for a journey through the Ten Commandments—not as a ladder to climb toward God, but as a map of what it looks like to live inside a love we didn’t earn and can’t lose. These aren’t the requirements for belonging—they’re what belonging looks like, lived out.
