Young Adults
Explore what it means to walk in Christ with other Young Adults.
Young Adults at First Pres is a thriving community of adults in our 20s and 30s exploring the intersection of faith and life. We build relationships and express the love of Christ, asking questions, welcoming honest reflection, and engaging in service to our community.
To join our email list, contact Tori Bommarito at torib@fpcberkeley.org. Our semi-weekly email shares remembrance of God’s faithfulness, ways to connect, and ways to respond to needs in our community.

People in our 20s and 30s, locals and newcomers, working and graduate students, single and married, explorers, seekers, and followers of Jesus. Questions about getting connected? Have an idea to share? Contact Tori Bommarito at torib@fpcberkeley.org.
We serve in our communities with church partners like CityTeam Oakland or on our church grounds through bi-monthly Street Meal.
Exploring our journey with God also means building relationships over a burger, exploring creation, and engaging with our wider community.
By practicing hospitality in our neighborhoods, young adults are exploring how to connect and belong as neighbors and church community, especially during COVID-19. Making Room is a new way for you to connect! Learn more through our Frequently Asked Questions, and Sign Up Here to be introduced to a First Pres neighbor in your local area.
We meet weekly or every other week with 5-15 people, now via Zoom. We explore questions of faith and following Jesus, share our lives, study scripture, and pray for one another.
Visit our Community Group Directory to find open Young Adult or intergenerational small groups.
From the (virtual) choir loft with Vesper Choir, sharing special music, reading scripture or leading church prayer, find us on Sunday mornings at worship. Contact John Yoo johny@fpcberkeley.org to inquire about virtual music ministry, or Tori Bommarito torib@fpcberkeley.org to help with virtual hospitality on Sunday Zoom Worship sessions.
